1st runner up: California (Did not answer her best in final question BUT she just told her opinion,
tried her best)
2nd runner up: Arizona
3rd runner up: Utah
4th runner up: Kentucky (Answered quite well... don't
know, Miss Mexico Universe 2008??)
Top 10 (6th to 10th): Texas, Tennessee, Arkansas (Should of changed her gown...
that costed her), South Carolina, and West Virginia
Top 15 (11th to 15th): Virginia, Minnesota, Georgia, Idaho, and
Connecticut

PB's Miss USA 2009
After reviewing all the contestants, it was hard to choose
PB's Miss USA 2009. PB reviewed all the delegates and finally chose the winner. PB's Miss USA 2009 is Miss California USA
2009, Carrie Prejean! Congratulations!
Here are the final predictions for Miss USA
2009:
Winner: California
1st runner up: Arkansas
2nd runner up: New York
3rd runner up: North Carolina
4th runner up: Utah
Top 10 Finalists (6th to 10th place): Hawaii, Texas,
Rhode Island, Kansas, and Virginia
Top 15 Semifinalists (11th to 15th place): Vermont,
District of Columbia, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Delaware
Darkhorses/Alternates (16th to 26th place): Illinois,
Arizona, South Carolina, Nebraska, Nevada, Oklahoma, West Virginia, Washington, Colorado, Massachusetts, and Wisconsin
Special Awards:
Miss Photogenic: Wisconsin or Utah
Miss Congeniality: New York
This list was very hard to determine. All of the
delegates seem strong and it can be anyone's game. PB thinks Miss California USA can win due to her modelling background,
great interview skills, and look. She can continue the one winner in every decade streak for California. Many do not have
Miss Arkansas USA as a favorite due to her gown. However her smile, catwalk, and look seems to be strong. If she changes into
a better gown after making the top 10, she may take it all. New York, not a big favorite of many but I think she can make
it into the top 5. Her gown and presentation was very good. She can possibly make it like Leah Leviano last year and do well
in interview. Very intelligent girl.
Next on the top 5 list is Miss North Carolina
USA. She has a great gown, great beautiful look. Very safe bet. However her age may come to her disadvantage into not winning
but hey there are winners who were very young (18). She has a possibility! Lastly PB thinks Utah will be fifth. She has the
looks and gown. However PB did not think her interview on missusa.com was the best and thus she is fifth.
Hawaii has lots of confidence and a bright red gown. If
she gives better poses, she can make the top 5. If she does, then watch out for her... Texas is always a powerhouse at Miss
USA and Brooke seems prepared too. However her preliminary performance was not the best and PB think she will not continue
the consecutive win. Rhode Island, a semifinalist from Miss Teen USA 2002 (the class to produce two Miss USAs - Tara Conner
and Rachel Smith). She knows how to work it on stage despite her height. You never know, maybe she will win like Tara Conner!
Kansas, favorite for many pageant websites. She seems to have the height and her gown presentation was not bad. She will make
the cut. Lastly in our top 10 is Miss Virginia USA. She has a great gown but let's see if she will make the first cut.
Vermont, a beautiful contestant and her performance
was spectacular in the preliminaries. Miss USA always have some surprises, she maybe one of them! District of Columbia's Nicole
White changed a lot since Miss Teen USA. She had a great gown and presented it well. Next is Tennessee... she did not choose
a wow gown like her previous titleholders but her height and interview may bring her in. Kentucky is next on our list. She
has a fresh look, young, and stunning. She seems a safe bet. Lastly in our top 15 is... Miss Delaware USA. A surprise indeed,
she did not perform her best in the preliminaries. However watching "The Delaware Curse" Video: http://www.missuniverse.com/missusa/videos/view/278, PB decided to risk a stop for her. She seemed to command attention from internet fans and since MUO decided
to allow this video to post, then very likely she will be one of six MUO and Mr. Donald Trump's choices. Maybe the Delaware
Curse will end tonight!?, who knows??
In our darkhorses/alternates list, PB chose the delegates
above. Illinois seemed to work it in the preliminaries, she may sneak into the top 15. Arizona also did quite well and maybe
one of MUO's choices. South Carolina... did not impressed PB much but she seems to be a favorite so she may make it. Nebraska's
gown was the best but she worked it. Maybe she will continue her semifinalist win at Miss Teen USA. The others all have chances
too. However surprises are guaranteed in Miss USA so except one, two, or maybe three contestants making the top 15 but not
on our list.
